Tia Maria began Operations in October, 1997 in Norcross, Georgia. The first expansion of operations took place in March 1998. A second bakery was opened inside of Buckden's Valu Foods in Chamblee, Georgia. After opening more than 6 locations in the Atlanta area, TIA MARIA BAKERY continues to grow with its line of frozen bakery products. At the end of 2000 TIA MARIA BAKERY moved to another location to continue developing the concept of Hispanic frozen pastries. During 2001 TIA MARIA BAKERY transformed the traditional bakeries into our own “Hot Points”. The First major “Hot Point” began operating using Tia Maria's frozen products in Winston Salem, North Carolina in 2002.
In addition, we are constantly growing with a strong source of production, quality service, and expanding “Hot Points” of sale.
